The HAVELI SERIES by Uday Dhar: An evocation of "Jali" patterns of the patrician palaces of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan and Fatehpur Sikri near Agra. *Uday Dhar was born in London and his childhood spent in India. The artist has lived for the past 33 years in New York except for the fours years he spent in Berlin. Uday Dhar’s art is a reflection of a synthesis of his bi-cultural and cosmopolitan experience. His artistic and design philosophy is to embody what it means to be at home in the world.
